Grunts Bar in Key West

Very different food selection and it all was good. The portions are large. The service is fast and friendly.

Got the cayo and the shrimp. Best tacos in Key West bar none. I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.

Small menu. Big flavor! Great rates and happy hour tucked away behind Hank's bar downtown. Catch some live music and a drink with the great fusion food truck or just stay hidden when you need a delicious, filling meal!

In a town with many choices, we ate two lunches at Garbo’s Grill and could have eaten more often. On both days, we had the Korean Barbecue Tacos. A tastier meal can’t be had. The spices that created this outstanding dish were an outstanding blend. Add a little Sirachi or not and you have a heavenly meal. On our second visit, I went with a burger, a half pound of beef, cheese and veggies grilled just right. Don’t miss this food truck when you’re in Key West.

Great taco stop I make every trip to KW. The spicier tacos are pretty not so if you don't like hot tell them to pull it back a bit. Nice outdoor eating area with drinks options in every direction. Favorite for lunch!

Food trucks are such cool food gems. If they don't like the crowd off they go to a new local. We were so blessed to find this one!! Great food

Everything on the menu is excellent but especially the Shrimp tacos! Small food truck but worth the effort to seek it out on your kw trip. We come here every time we are in town.

Watermelon a must have drink! 😁 Very refreshing and needed in the heat of the day.

Best Korean Beef taco I've ever had

A cute little food truck that sits in the back of Hanks which has great live music and a bar. The food is pretty good. A little pricey for a food truck but it fills you up!

The trio is very popular. It’s a taco variety of 1 fish, 1 shrimp and 1 Korean beef. My favorite is the shrimp, followed closely by the beef. Interestingly, the cayo fish is not too good in my opinion, though other people in our group liked it. Good prices at happy hour. Outside seating only - tables under some trees but KW summers can be brutal so go when it’s not too hot/middle of the day. Parking might be a bit challenging except for scooters or bikes. There is a lot right next to it but you have to pay. Nearby street is a hit or miss for parking...

We went there during all of this Covid stuff. Myself and the other 7 people I was with all work in the service industry as well, so we understand how rough things have been. It took them 5 mins before someone even came to get our order, and then another 15 to get drinks. The place was half full. Someone finally came out and my friend said, "oh hey we ordered a while ago," and before he could finish the guy cut him off and said, "yeah, takes a while to make this many drinks" and pointed to the woman coming up with them. I understand things are rough but no other place treated us that way and none of us fellow servers or bartenders would ever talk to someone like that, especially after taking so long and being not busy at all.

Great tacos! Try the triple, you won't be disappointed.

Good food , good live music , great staff

Pretty good but they describe it as "cheap eats" and its like every bit of 15 dollars per meal i guess. They led me to believe it was like a 2 dollar taco stand kinda place. Hotdog with mango was good but, idk if Id go back. Nothing wrong with it, just not my cup of tea. Super cool atmosphere at the brewery for what its worth! Clean bathrooms.

Garbo’s grill is a pretty okay mexican themed outdoor restaurant. the food slightly missed its mark. my wife and I ordered burritos and thought they were just okay. the atmosphere was really inviting and pleasant. there was cold water that you could get yourself and a newly renovated, clean bathroom. there is a bar indoors but all of the food comes out of a little airstream trailer in the back of the lot. the pricing was also pretty good for the portion size and for other key west eating options.

This is a quick bite type of place- a food truck with a bunch of tables, chairs and umbrellas outdoors. The food was decent. No service here. You stand in line, get your food and find a table. For us, unfortunately it was packed so there were no tables and no one to help you find a table

Please please please come to Kentucky I miss your Korean barbecue tacos desperately! ❣️💕

Very disappointed/dissatisfied. After reading all the great reviews, I had to stop here and give Garbo's a try. The tacos were mediocre I give it that. However the burger was absolutely terrible. For how expensive it is, it should have been the best burger I've ever had, as it's the most expensive burger I've ever had. But I was blown away by the lack of flavor, and how simple of a burger it was especially for the cost. I never wrote a bad review before but that burger was just that bad.

Only possible reason for this place to have good rating is low prices and outside seating area. $6 craft beer is big plus, but it doesn't cut on other disadvantages. It took around 30 minutes to prepare 2 small dishes and place wasn't even crowded. Other people around us waited for same amount of time and and weren't pleased either. You only get burger as well done, fish in burrito was extremely dry.

Once again great spot, everything on the menu is Fire! Atmosphere is all you could ask for in Key West and the Staff is still the best as well as the owner!!!

Best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had. Easy 5/5. Expect to wait 30 minutes for your food but who cares - you’re in paradise - chill out 😄

We have visited since it was Grunts with a guy out front with a grill along the sidewalk. So happy to see a little place thrive down here as more "non-conch" type influence exercises more control. We will return, keep up the great work!

So good! Taco special, sample a variety of flavors. Watch out for the jalapeno in the fish taco. 😳

Tastiest lunch we had in key west. Can’t beat the fish taco and the Korean bbq taco. Lady who took our order was nice and there were enough tables when we went! Highly recommend!

I had the Korean bbq burrito and opted for spicy. It was so delicious. Not only the flavor but the spicy was the kind of spice that comes in low and slow and by the end your tongue is fire. They're also trying to keep us safe. Masks, gloves, handed me the food pager wrapped in a paper towel, hand sanitizer at the counter and the table.

We really enjoyed the beef tacos and umamiburger!

Gotta say this was a great find off the"beaten path" in Key West. Both items we ordered, shrimp tacos and Korean BBQ burrito were delicious. Stick to a few things and do them well.

Stayed in Key West for a few days and this was the best food we had the entire trip. The menus options were delicious. They made a plain hot dog and hamburger for my picky kids. If you are in the area try this place.

Hard to find. It is behind Hank's. Rode our bikes so it was easy for us to park. Food was ok but nothing to brag about. We got the Umami Burger. Need seasoning. Under cooked as well. I like Fisherman's Cafe is much better.

Amazing. I had korean bbq tacos, huge portions. Very generous with the meat and just the right amount of spice for someone that enjoys spicy but cant do extreme heat. Seating is outdoors, its 91° outside but their sunshade and fans keep you comfortable. They also have beers and cocktails on site as well. This place is a must stop for a quick bite!!

Unique backyard style surrounded by a garden. Order at the food truck, grab a drink at the bar and choose a table. Listen to live music and watch the chickens. Food was delicious. Had the Korean BBQ and mahimahi.

Right now at the Garbo's Grill. This is my second time trying it as we drove all the way up from Boston.Same great taste as I had it last year!!! Cayo Fish tacos are great!!!!! My friend loved it too.

Great food and friendly staff! Tucked away in an Airstream trailer behind Hank's Hair of the Dog Saloon. Excellent casual food - tacos, burritos, burgers, and dogs.

DELICIOUS I can’t even tell you how great the shrimp tacos are. The sauce on these things is to die for!!!A quick, “cheap” (for the keys)... stop. outdoor seating in a super breezy area covered by canopy’s and they also have outdoor fans. Decorated adorably. We will be back.

We visit every year. My favorite is the fish tacos and my husband's favorite is the Korean beef. I love the new tables, chairs and sun shades. This is a great place to relax, enjoy live music and indulge in the best tacos in Key West.

I know you're in the land of seafood, but get the burger. Absolutely THE best burger I have ever had. Very thick, juicy and flavorful. And grab a Bloody Mary or two right next door (on premises) at 'Hank's Hair of the Dog' - awesome!!

The best Shrimp Tacos I have ever eaten.

The food was pretty good, but what really sells this place is the atmosphere. The live performance was incredible and it seems there's always some sort of live music going on there. Not a ton of options on the menu, but you really can't ask for a smorgasbord from a food truck.

Off the beaten path in Key West off Caroline St. in the courtyard of a cool taproom! Family friendly for sure during lunch! A must!
